Composer Brandon Moore grew up listening to film scores and performing classical music in his native Arlington, Texas.
In 1999 he moved to Los Angeles to study scoring professionally at the University of Southern California's Scoring for Motion Pictures and
Television program. Brandon has composed a wide range of scores for a variety of film projects such as the Mexico International Film Festival
winner THE GENTLEMAN DON LA MANCHA (2004) and the soon to be released Sci-Fi thriller RAY BRADBURY'S CHRYSALIS (2009).
He's contributed a number of unique scores like his energetic guitar/piano driven score to THE BRIDESMAID (2006) and the ominous and
apocalyptic A PIECE OF WOOD which won praise from visual effects pioneer Douglas Trumball (2001: A Space Odyssey, Close Encounters of
the Third Kind) at the Seattle International Science Fiction Short Film Festival in 2004. His elegiac trumpet and strings score for the
war documentary RETURN TO VIETNAM helped win the film a Silver Telly award in 2007. RAY BRADBURY'S CHRYSALIS will be released domestically
on On Demand November 5th, 2009 by Lightning Media and internationally by Arsenal Pictures. The soundtrack will be available for download soon.
